Dr. Thien (Tim) Huynh is a Fellowship Trained Glaucoma Specialist who brings this unique expertise to Highland Ophthalmology.
He has been with Highland Ophthalmology since July of 2006.
Dr. Huynh provides General Ophthalmology eye care. He is a cataract surgeon offering Femtosecond Laser Assisted Cataract Surgery and advanced intraocular lenses for more independence from glasses. Dr. Huynh specializes in the early detection, as well as medical and surgical treatment of Glaucoma. He has expertise in the latest medical, laser and surgical procedures for routine and complex glaucoma patients. These include Durysta implant, Selective Laser Trabeculopasty (SLT), Microincisional Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS), as well as traditional Trabeculectomy and Tube Shunt surgery.
He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and National Board of Medical Examiners. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), the American Medical Association (AMA), and the New York State Ophthalmological Society (NYSOS).
