About The Doctor

Dr. Jessica Maher is a Doctor of Optometry providing primary eye care at Highland Ophthalmology Associates, including pediatrics, ocular disease management, and specialty and routine contact lens fittings. She works closely alongside our ophthalmologists providing pre-surgical and post-operative patient care. 

Dr. Maher attended SUNY College of Optometry in Manhattan, NY, where she graduated with honors as a member of Beta Sigma Kappa honor society. She is a member of the New York State Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Maher has completed clinical rotations at the University Eye Center in Manhattan, Keller Army Community Hospital, as well as local private practice. In these rotations she received specialty training in contact lenses, vision therapy, ocular disease, children with special needs, pediatrics, and primary care.
